Making Babies.....

wOw!
This one is simply adorable.
Since I'm a baby maker, wait...err, uhh...
let me re-phrase that....
Since I'm a DOLLmaker, and not a doll collector, its not often, that one of the babies grabs my heart by all 4 chambers...
This one did...If you pick him up under his wee arms, he just melts in your hands...He's soo snuggly, soo floppy and feels soo real. You can click on the picture to see more pictures on eBay....wish him good luck! The Good Lord knows I need it....;)

Black Licorice Facts....mmmm

If your a black licorice lover like I am, then you have have to try Gimbal's Black Licorice Scottie Dogs candy.
Seriously, Ive yet to try a black licorice that can touch these puppies, literally lol....
Licorice root & pure anise, all wrapped up into an adorable dog shaped candy that will make your taste buds do flip flops. Plus, licorice has healing properties that date back to the 1800's, so if your looking for health reasons to eat candy, there you have it !!
Plus, licorice helps you poop. Face it people, we all poop. Its a natural laxative and the Chinese have used licorice root for over 5000 years.
Its known to work better than antacids and has anti-inflammatory properties similar to cortisone, but w/o the side effects.

Its unfortunate that no one in my house, but the dog & myself, like black licorice, so unfortunately, that leaves the whole bag for me, but Im not one to complain. ;)

Stay tuned for beads soon...the flame has been calling my name...
Im slowly sifting thru all these hospital tests and I see the Neurosurgeon tomorrow....For those of you that have asked me about the Tens Unit...its working very well. I would recommend one to anyone in pain.
They have an extremely high success rate.

Bead well my peeps....bead well.

Priceless.........

Remember Alfred Hitchcocks movie, The Birds? Oooo, nelly, I know I do...I seem to have the opposite problem.

Allow me to rewind a bit so you can be up to speed here.
Mothers Day was truly wonderful. My kids made the day soo extra special, and wanted to take me shopping, so I could get something I really wanted. We finally landed at The Andersons, for some cinnamon taffy and a bird feeder. Ive always been a bird lover, and have had quite a few birds myself. In fact my last baby cockatiel, I hand fed.
She had such a vocabulary too! So, given my love for our feathered friends, I got a beautiful bird feeder and a big bag of bird seed.
Oh, and a pound of taffy which currently resides in my stomach.

I filled the bird feeder chamber last Sunday. Mothers Day.
As you can see, the birds have been very very busy, throwing seed OUT of the feeder and onto my patio. If you are a person that "really" pays attention to things, you'll notice this is the same exact place that I photograph my BEADS.

Cost of Birdfeeder $24.99
Bag of Birdseed $5.99
The look on my face when I remembered how messy birds are:
PRICELESS.....

it smells "old"............

I took my youngest daughter to the bead store here in Maumee...(Bonita Bead)
She has the cutest lil' store...lots of antique embellishments happening and some neat artwork.

Antique items mixed with a really warm day, produces a very unique scent. I know, I'm weird, I fully admit that, but its a very familiar "old" scent, that I cant yet place. Either way, I always enjoy downtown Maumee, its "old" in itself, with alot of historic flavor dating back to the early 1800's...
And although I love antique items, I cant help but get a wee bit freaked out around them. Ok, here goes "weird" again, but ever since we lived with a Ghost, a not so nice ghost...I did alot of research and study in the "Paranormal" side of things...(Hi Jason!!)

There are alot of books on how Spirits attach themselves to Antique Items...which REALLY freaks me out.
So now, every time I walk into the bead store, with all these antique items and I smell the "old"....
My imagination tends to go overboard, lol....

I know, I know....weird....(time to get off the morphine, lol)

My Croc obsession in detail....

Anyone that knows me, knows Im a diehard Croc wearer...I have a pair of the lime green...and brown, ok, ok, and navy...
Now, when i bought my Croc's, it was because they were funky. They were me. Green is such a fun bright color and ive always been a really funky shoe person. I also have a drawer full of funky knee socks. Thats a whole 'nother post, don't get me started on socks...
I guess Im sorta oober funky, but back to the Croc's.
The worse the nerve damage progressed in my leg, the less I could wear shoes that tied.
Which really sucked because i have funky red Converses that rock...but they tie. I cant feel my feet when I wear shoes that tie. Every once in a while, I push the envelope and bust out my Nikes or my Converses, but my main staple shoe diet is my Crocs...
Lime green Croc's...
Thank God, they make every color of Croc a color lover could want, because someday I will have EVERY color of Croc.
Except for the silver...I dont like the silver.
And well, except maybe the white. I dont want to look like Im doing my clinicals again...so strike the white.
But every other color, I will own. Oh, and except maybe not those funny brownish puke color ones. I dont want to be walking around with the color of throw up on my shoes.
So, now you know the story behind my Croc obsession...
Its purely for medical reasons..................purely ;)
